Christmas Sangria

I love how versatile sangria is. You can basically choose your favorite kind of wine and just add your favorite fruits! I make a Summer Sangria that is so light and refreshing and perfect for laying out by the pool. I add peaches, kiwi and berries (all my fav summer fruits) to white wine and serve it over ice. Around the holidays, I like to be in theme and use festive colors and flavors. My Mom makes the most AMAZING red sangria (recipe coming soon!) and serves it every year at Thanksgiving. A few years ago we decided we should serve a white sangria as well. That’s when I started making this recipe. It is light and fresh from the mint but has the holiday flavors that I love from the cranberries, orange, apple and apple cider. Plus it just looks so beautiful! If you are looking to make a nonalcoholic version for Christmas, simply just eliminate the wine and add a 750 ml bottle of sparkling water instead!

Ingredients:
2 bottles of Sauvignon Blanc
1 cup cranberries
1 orange, sliced
1 apple, sliced
1 handful of fresh mint leaves
1 bottle Sparkling Apple Cider
Directions:
Add cranberries, orange slices, apple slices and mint leaves to a large pitcher. Top with two bottles of white wine and refrigerate until ready to use. Once ready to serve, pour sparkling apple cider into the pitcher, mix and serve.
